Adeyemi’s interest is in the field of 'Quality Management' developed during his MSc study at Teesside. He obtained a KTP role with Glyndwr University in 2006. Since then, he has had significant professional development 'Quality Management'.
CONTINUOUS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (CPD)
Adeyemi is an American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer and hence bears the derogation (ASQ CQE), a British Retail Consortium (BRC) trained Third Party Lead Assessor and a qualified and registered trainer with the Chattered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH). He is also a member of the ASQ, an Associate Member of the Institute of Food Science and Technology (IFST), and holds a student membership of the Chattered Institute of Management.
Adeyemi is in the early stages of researching the possibility of developing a knowledge-based decision making logic system to assist in the implementation of the quality management systems in the Food Industry Sector. He is studying towards his PhD under the supervision of Dr. Rhys Rowland-Jones and Mr. S. Byrne.
Adeyemi is a KTP associate with Glyndwr University. He is currently two years into a three year project with a local Welsh company, 'Welsh Lady Preserves' on a project to implement quality management systems and new product development methodology for product diversification and to design optimum layout and product flow for a new production facility.
He is currently preparing a research paper co-authored with both his supervisor and mentor (Dr. Rhys Rowland-Jones and Steve Byrne) titled “Changing Organisations through the Implementation of Sector-Specific Quality Standards: An Ongoing Case Study of a Small Scale Food Processing Firm in the UK”, to be Presented at the 17th International Conference of Israel Society for Quality, Jerusalem, November 2008.
His interests include writing, public speaking and travelling. He also plays badminton, volleyball and table tennis.
